Provides direct student-facing support to undergraduate students enrolled at the university. Utilizes a wide range of software, student development theory, and retention-focused strategies. Working under direct supervision to support students by performing specific, articulated goals and outcomes. The College of Integrative Sciences and Arts (CISA) seeks four Academic Success Advisors to join the Academic Strategy and Student Experience Team (ASSET). Reporting to a member of the ASSET leadership team and based on the Polytechnic and Tempe campuses, the Academic Success Advisor will play an important role in promoting student retention and supporting timely progress toward degree completion. Working within a collaborative, team-based model, Academic Success Advisors support students from admission through graduation using a range of virtual and in-person advising strategies and student success practices. The most effective advisors bring a combination of critical thinking, curiosity, creativity, and, above all, a genuine commitment to student care and advocacy.
