About The Position

The Center for Health and Community (CHC) in the Department of Psychiatry houses the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Evidence for Action (E4A) National Program Office and is responsible for the implementation of a multi-year national grant-making initiative. The Deputy Director plays a significant role in senior management. The primary roles of the National Program Office involves managing a portfolio of approximately 90 grantees, including providing technical assistance, facilitating peer learning and networking, and disseminating research findings in a manner that is useful and accessible to stakeholders. The Deputy Director co-develops the program's strategy, policies, budgets, initiatives, and communications efforts, implements the program strategy and achieves program goals through the coordinated achievements of program staff and multiple internal and external partners, and oversees day-to-day program operations, including supervising program staff. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Academic Program Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and enhancing academic programs, ensuring their smooth operation and success. The position offers a unique chance to contribute to the academic and research endeavors of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at UCSF, a leading institution in healthcare and community well-being.
