The Utah Smart Energy Laboratory (U-Smart) at the University of Utah is seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team dedicated to designing resilient and sustainable power systems. Job Description: The Academic Programs and Administrative Manager will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to the U-Smart Lab, overseeing administrative duties and managing educational programs in collaboration with academic faculty, industry partners, and government stakeholders. The position will coordinate educational initiatives to foster engagement between students, industry experts, and policymakers, as well as providing essential support for knowledge dissemination, interdisciplinary collaboration, and student engagement. Ideal candidates will excel in resource and time management and contribute to the success of our educational programs. This position will be scheduling meetings for stakeholder engagement, handle communication with internal and external partners, prepare documents, support meetings, ensure confidentiality, collaborate with the team, solve problems, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
