About The Position

The Academic Program Coordinator supports the Executive Education, Corporate Partnerships, and Lifelong Learning team by coordinating curriculum revision efforts, supporting faculty and instructional design initiatives, facilitating learner engagement activities, and managing operational processes that contribute to high-quality professional education programs. This role also assists with the implementation of emerging educational technologies, including AI-enabled learning tools, and supports innovation initiatives that enhance instructional delivery and program effectiveness. As a newly established position within a growing and evolving unit, the role offers the opportunity to help shape processes, contribute to strategic initiatives, and expand its scope over time in response to program growth, organizational priorities, and emerging opportunities in professional and lifelong learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Experience supporting academic, training, or professional education programs
  • Experience coordinating projects, timelines, meetings, or stakeholder communications
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support concurrent initiatives
  • Familiarity with LMS and collaboration tools (Canvas, Zoom, Monday.com, Airtable, etc.)
  • Interest in or familiarity with AI-enabled learning technologies and emerging educational tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team-oriented and service-focused environments
  • Experience working with colleagues and learners from diverse backgrounds and fostering an inclusive work and learning environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and coordination of AI-enabled learning tools and emerging educational technologies.
  • Support faculty and staff in utilizing instructional technologies, digital learning resources, and AI-supported educational tools.
  • Research and compile information on emerging trends and best practices related to artificial intelligence and professional education.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance learner engagement and instructional support through technology-enabled practices.
  • Support curriculum revision and course enhancement initiatives for professional education and business programs.
  • Assist faculty subject matter experts and instructional designers with curriculum review and course revision activities.
  • Coordinate meetings, communications, timelines, and project deliverables associated with assigned initiatives.
  • Maintain curriculum documentation, revision records, and course support materials.
  • Support learner engagement activities and quality assurance processes for online and hybrid learning experiences.
  • Assist with the collection and organization of learner feedback, survey data, and program support information.
  • Coordinate scheduling, communications, reporting, logistics, and administrative support activities for assigned programs and initiatives.
  • Support project tracking, workflow coordination, and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain participant and program data and assist with reporting and documentation activities.
  • Coordinate surveys, evaluations, and post-program feedback collection processes.
  • Assist with vendor coordination, meeting logistics, and compliance with university and departmental processes.
  • Provide operational and administrative support for special projects and professional education initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • Flexible Work Arrangement: This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Employees are expected to work on-site at their primary ASU work location for a minimum of 60% of their regular workweek. Remote work may be performed for the remainder, based on business needs. Hybrid arrangements are subject to approval at the dean or vice president level.
