About The Position

Emory University Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine is seeking a non-tenure track neuropathologist at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful candidate will join a diverse and collegial group of faculty who evaluate over 1000 surgical neuropathology cases and over 75 autopsy brains each year and contribute to the academic mission of the department by providing excellent clinical care, educating our residents and fellows, and performing original and collaborative research.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Neuropathology.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia.
  • Clinical expertise in adult surgical neuropathology and autopsy neuropathology.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise in molecular neuropathology.
  • Expertise in neuromuscular disorders.
  • Expertise in neurodegenerative diseases.
  • Expertise in ocular pathology.
  • A history of, or potential for, implementing and growing an NIH-funded research program.
