About The Position

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks Neurologists and fellowship-trained subspecialists to join our growing Department of Neurology in Worcester, Massachusetts. We are seeking physicians with expertise in Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology, Epilepsy, Headache Medicine, Neuromuscular Medicine, and Neurovascular Neurology. This is an exciting opportunity to join the clinical and academic environment of UMass Memorial Medical Center, the academic medical center of UMass Memorial Health and clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School. Our physicians care for a diverse and complex patient population while collaborating with specialists across a comprehensive academic health system. Requirements

MD or DO degree
Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
Subspecialty board certification/eligibility when applicable
Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
Commitment to patient-centered care and multidisciplinary collaboration

Responsibilities

Build or expand a subspecialty clinical program
Care for a diverse and complex neurological patient population
Collaborate with experienced specialists across multiple disciplines
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers
Participate in clinical research, clinical trials, and scholarly activities
Pursue leadership and program-development opportunities
Practice in a supportive environment focused on clinical excellence, education, innovation, and collaboration
Care for patients with memory disorders, cognitive impairment, dementia, and neurodegenerative diseases, with opportunities for multidisciplinary care, teaching, research, and program development.
Provide comprehensive care for patients with epilepsy and seizure disorders, with opportunities involving inpatient and outpatient care, EEG interpretation, multidisciplinary collaboration, and clinical program development.
Expand a focused practice caring for patients with migraine and complex headache disorders while collaborating with primary care, emergency medicine, pain medicine, neurosurgery, and other specialties.
Care for patients with peripheral neuropathies, neuromuscular junction disorders, myopathies, motor neuron disease, and related conditions. Opportunities may include EMG/NCS, multidisciplinary clinics, teaching, and research.
Join a multidisciplinary program caring for patients with acute and chronic cerebrovascular disease, with opportunities in stroke care, inpatient consultation, outpatient stroke clinics, secondary prevention, and collaboration with neurointerventional radiology, neurosurgery, emergency medicine, and critical care.
