About The Position

The Division of Gynecologic Oncology at UMass Memorial Medical Center, the clinical partner of the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, is seeking a fourth Board-Certified or Board-Eligible gynecologic oncologist to work as a full-time clinician/educator at the assistant or associate professor level. UMass Memorial Medical Center is an 818-bed tertiary care center serving central and western Massachusetts. The University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School is nationally recognized for its research and is highly ranked for NIH funding. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology includes six subspecialty divisions and 24 resident physicians involved in patient care. Division members practice the full spectrum of gynecologic oncology, including surgical and chemotherapy care, and participate in medical student and resident education. Opportunities for clinical research exist, and the Division is a member of NRG Oncology and the Gynecologic Oncology Group Foundation/Partners.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Oncology.
• Fellowship training.
• Must hold an MD or DO degree.
• Qualify for a Massachusetts license.

Responsibilities

• Practice full spectrum gynecologic oncology, including surgical and chemotherapy care.
• Participate in medical student and resident education.
• Have opportunities for clinical research.
• Engage in clinical, translational, and basic science research.
