About The Position

BridgePrep Academy Polk County is seeking a data-driven Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) Teacher / Interventionist for the 2026–2027 school year. The role facilitates the schoolwide MTSS framework, delivers targeted Tier 2 and Tier 3 academic interventions in reading and mathematics, and collaborates with instructional teams to help students achieve grade-level success. The position is based at BridgePrep Academy Polk in Davenport, Florida, and reports to the Principal or Campus Administrator.

The interventionist will provide evidence-based instruction, use student progress data to adjust teaching, support MTSS problem-solving, foster an encouraging learning environment, and partner with families.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Valid or eligible Florida Educator Certificate in Elementary Education (Grades K–6), Exceptional Student Education (ESE K–12), or a related teaching field.
• Ability to successfully pass a Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Florida Reading Endorsement and/or ESOL Endorsement.
• Prior experience with MTSS processes, Tier 2/3 interventions, progress-monitoring tools, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based small-group and individualized Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions in reading and mathematics.
• Conduct universal screeners, track students’ responses to intervention, and maintain progress-monitoring data to guide instructional adjustments.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary MTSS problem-solving meetings with classroom teachers, administrators, ESE personnel, and support staff.
• Maintain a structured, encouraging classroom environment where struggling learners feel supported and motivated.
• Communicate regularly with families about intervention plans, student growth, and strategies to support learning at home.
