About The Position

The City of Fort Lauderdale is offering an unpaid internship opportunity for full-time college students seeking hands-on, practical work experience in local government. Requirements

• Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university.
• College transcripts (official or unofficial) must be attached to the on-line application.
• Your college must sponsor the internship (providing academic credit or documentation).
• Must pass a background check prior to beginning the internship.
• Must sign the required internship agreement form.
• Interns cannot perform duties normally assigned to regular City employees.
• Interns are limited to 24 hours per week.
• Must attach a resume to the on-line application.
