About The Position

The Department of Human Nutrition invites applications for a part-time Academic Instructor to teach HNU 485 (Applied Nutrition Research) (3 credits) during the winter term of the 2026-2027 academic year. This position is subject to final budgetary approval. This course will be taught in person and will provide an advanced understanding of approaches, theories and methods used in Human Nutrition research.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Human Nutrition, or in a related field in science such as Health Sciences.
• Demonstrated record of effective teaching.
• Strong communication skills.
• Registered Dietitian registered with (or eligible for registration/licensure with) the Nova Scotia Regulator of Dietetics (NSRD).
• Commitment to supporting and advancing the university’s goals related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Teach HNU 485 (Applied Nutrition Research) (3 credits) during the winter term of the 2026-2027 academic year.
