About The Position
St. John's College of Nursing is seeking an Academic Faculty-Adjunct to join their team. This role supports the ongoing implementation of academic nursing programs aligned with the college's mission. Academic adjunct nursing faculty are responsible for providing high-quality education, training, and evaluation to nursing students. They also collaborate on curriculum review, revision, and development in all related educational settings.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required.
- 1 year of experience in nursing is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing plus 5 years nursing experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Doctoral degree is required for Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs.
- Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license is required for master’s Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) track.
Nice To Haves
- Experiences in higher education or clinical education is preferred.
- (This experience level is required in addition to the experience that would be required in lieu of education if colleague does not meet Master's Degree requirement.)
