The Academic Coordinator of the Mathematics Center serves in a pivotal leadership capacity at the convergence of academic support, student development, and institutional equity. Situated within the Center for Academic Program Support (CAPS), the Coordinator stewards both the strategic vision and operational excellence of three interconnected programs: the Mathematics Center, the Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program, and the Mathematics Learning Coach (MLC) Program. As a scholar-practitioner, the Coordinator applies evidence-based frameworks drawn from developmental education, learning theory, and academic advising to design, sustain, and continuously refine a multi-tiered support ecosystem — one that is both responsive to and reflective of the diverse academic needs of a dynamic student population.
