Area 3 Elementary School_Academic Coach (Chapel Hill ES) 2026-2027
About The Position
Chapel Hill Elementary School is seeking an Academic Coach who uses best practices to increase student achievement. The primary responsibility is to implement, deliver, and promote high academic expectations for all students. The ideal candidate collaborates with team members and has excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is a one-year position funded through Title I funds and will end on or before June 30, 2027. To continue employment with the DeKalb County School District for the 2026–2027 school year, the person accepting this position must apply for an available position and be recommended for a new position.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Professional Standards Commission-approved certificate at level 4 or higher in the specified content area.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
