Requirements
- Excel at explaining academic content in a clear, engaging way
- Love building relationships and helping students gain confidence
- Hold a bachelor's degree from a 4-year university
- Available 15+ hours per week within our session hours: Mon–Fri, 3:00–9:30pm & Sun, 10:00am–6:00pm
- Sunday availability required
Nice To Haves
- Teaching credential or classroom experience a strong plus
- Experience with Test Prep (ISEE)
- Recently retired teachers
- Former tutors
- Career-changers who miss the classroom but not the paperwork
Responsibilities
- Support Elementary & Middle School students in a range of subjects, including: Core Subjects: Language Arts, History, Natural Sciences, Math (incl Alg I)
- Provide Test Prep (Preferred): ISEE
- Conduct consistent hours with recurring weekly sessions within preferred hours
- Provide 1-on-1 sessions in private offices at our facility
- Focus on teaching without needing to hustle for clients
- Work in a highly supportive and collaborative team environment
- Participate in paid training and shadowing with experienced coaches
