The Academic Advisor provides personalized, holistic advising, builds meaningful relationships with students, and collaborates with faculty, staff, and campus partners to create a welcoming, student-centered environment where every student can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic academic, career, and personal advising to undergraduate students
• Partner with students to develop graduation plans and achieve their educational goals
• Empower students to make informed decisions and overcome academic challenges
• Conduct proactive outreach to support student success
• Document advising interactions and student progress using university systems
• Support office initiatives, special projects, and continuous process improvement
• Participate in professional development and staff training
• Maintain current knowledge of curricula, graduation requirements, university policies, and campus resources
