Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) is seeking an Academic Advisor II to join their Academic Advising department. This university, designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) and Minority-Serving Institution (MSI), serves approximately 11,000 students and employs over 1,400 full-time and 2,000 part-time staff. TAMU-CC is part of the Texas A&M University System and is located on a scenic 240-acre island campus. The Academic Advisor II, reporting to the Senior Academic Advisor, will be responsible for guiding students through academic requirements, course selection, registration, and major selection. This role also involves providing information on and referring students to university resources, interpreting institutional requirements, and potentially supervising projects.
