Temple University's Center for Performing & Cinematic Arts is searching for an Academic Advisor II. This role advises students on academic schedules, long-term plans, major choices, academic standing, resource utilization, and policy interpretation. The Academic Advisor II maintains extensive student records, collaborates with faculty on student concerns and curriculum changes, and disseminates academic information with advising staff. They also develop and deliver outreach for first-year student success initiatives. The position involves meeting with students individually or in groups to provide information and resources for academic, career, and personal goals. A key aspect of this role is developing, implementing, and managing projects to enhance student success and retention.
