The Aboriginal Headstart Outreach Worker ensures the Aboriginal Headstart Outreach program provides a nurturing, culturally sensitive, educational outreach program for young children and families. This role involves collaborating with First Nations, governments, and community partners to improve program and service coordination and access. The worker will educate and raise awareness of First Nations maternal, family, and child health priorities, programs, and partnerships through a continuum of care model that includes prevention, intervention, and support. Additionally, the role includes developing and delivering age-appropriate children's activities designed to meet their spiritual, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs, empowering them to develop a sense of self and a connection with Indigenous communities.
