About The Position

The company was formed in 2021 and presents an affordable, family-friendly sports and entertainment portfolio that brings a commitment to community engagement, customer service, innovation, and the professional growth and development of its family of athletes and employees. Attain Sports owns and manages four baseball teams: the Baltimore Orioles Double-A affiliate Chesapeake Baysox, the Baltimore Orioles High-A affiliate Aberdeen IronBirds, the MLB Draft League Frederick Keys, and the Atlantic League Professional Baseball Club Spire City Ghost Hounds. Additionally, Attain Sports is an owner of the United Soccer League (USL) Championship Club Loudoun United FC. The Aberdeen IronBirds are seeking a part-time mascot performer for game days, events and public appearances.
Requirements
- Height range; 5' 6" to 6' to fit into costume comfortably
- Energetic, creative, expressive and able to entertain and interact with guests of all ages
- Ability to work up to 42 IronBirds home games if needed
- 1-2 years experience as a mascot performer preferred
- Agile and physically fit enough to maintain steady performance level during games and in extreme heat
Nice To Haves
- Additional performance skills such as magic tricks, juggling, pantomime, use of creative thinking or improvisation are a plus
