About The Position

Ready Set Connect is seeking an ABA Therapist to provide direct, one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis services to children with autism spectrum disorder and related developmental needs. Under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the therapist implements individualized treatment plans to support skill acquisition, reduce maladaptive behaviors, and promote independence across educational and social settings. Training is provided. This is a full-time position averaging 30–40 hours per week; part-time schedules are not available. Candidates must be available Monday through Friday between 7:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., as well as one Saturday or Sunday per month from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Specific schedules vary based on operational needs. The role involves work at school and center locations, with travel potentially required between them. The working-conditions section specifies 30–35 hours per week to meet a billable expectation of 30–35 billable hours per week.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to dynamic environments.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday.
Ability to lift at least 50–65 pounds and assist or physically support students, including lifting or guiding students of varying sizes.
Ability to use CPI procedures when required and trained, and to remove oneself or others from unsafe situations quickly.
Ability to maintain attention and focus in a dynamic, high-stimulation environment.
Ability to multitask and shift priorities quickly.
Ability to exercise sound judgment, particularly in high-pressure or safety-sensitive situations.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, maintain professional relationships, and perform duties under stress, including during behavioral escalations.
Availability to work Monday through Friday between 7:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. and at least one Saturday or Sunday per month from 8:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Responsibilities

Deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in center-based and school-based settings.
Follow and implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA.
Use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Address and manage challenging behaviors using appropriate ABA and safety care techniques.
Record accurate, detailed data on client progress and behavior during sessions and maintain organized session notes.
Promptly report concerns or changes in client behavior to the supervising BCBA.
Collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, school staff, and families to support consistent and effective interventions.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.
Act as a liaison between the center, school staff, and families, fostering positive relationships.
Set up and maintain therapy materials and environments, adapting materials and teaching approaches to individual client needs.
Follow BACB ethical standards, organizational and school policies, and applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain professionalism when representing Ready Set Connect in schools.
Help keep students safe, including physically intervening when required and trained to do so.
