About The Position

LBAPS National is seeking a behavior therapist to provide 1:1, in-home support to a 4-year-old boy in Yonkers, New York. The child is fully verbal, fluent in English, described as having moderate functioning and severe behaviors, and benefits from structure and consistency. The schedule is 25 hours per week on weekdays after 3:30 PM. The therapist will be supervised and supported by LBAPS National.

Requirements

• Ability to remain calm when working through challenging behavior.
• Patience, energy, reliability, heart, and grit.
• Understanding of the difference between a tantrum and a strategy.
• Belief in structure, consistency, and celebrating small wins.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
• Familiarity with Westchester.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, in-home behavior therapy to a 4-year-old child.
• Use structure and consistency while supporting the child.
• Observe and measure the child’s progress.
