ABA Therapist for a 12 y/o BOY (M-F: 4-8, Sat 9-5)
About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes, providing 1-on-1 support through play-based ABA therapy. This role focuses on helping children build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence. You will work directly in families' homes, consistently with the same children, to help them make progress in their everyday environments. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference. Training and support will be provided to meet each child's unique needs.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism)
- Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a background check

Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with kids in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective.
- Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together.
