About The Position
BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking dedicated individuals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes, providing 1-on-1 support through play-based ABA therapy. As an RBT/BT, you will help children build essential daily living skills, improve communication, foster independence, and boost confidence. This role involves working consistently with the same children, allowing you to witness and contribute to their real-world progress. The position is ideal for those seeking flexible part-time hours, particularly in the afternoon and evening, to supplement existing work or academic schedules. The therapy is designed by a licensed BCBA, and you will be trained to implement these plans effectively. This is a hands-on, impactful role where your patience, energy, and creativity can create a lasting difference in a child's life.
Requirements
- Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism).
- Afternoon/evening availability.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must pass a background check.

- Weekend availability a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children in their homes to help them learn and grow using play-based ABA techniques.
- Follow simple step-by-step treatment plans made by your supervisor (BCBA).
- Track progress during each session using an easy data system on your phone or tablet.
- Collaborate with your BCBA and fellow techs to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Provide feedback to families about session progress and celebrate achievements.
