About The Position

Child’sPlay Therapy Center is hiring a full-time Behavior Technician for its South Huntsville clinic. The center-based role provides one-on-one ABA treatment to children up to age 21, implementing learning programs and collecting behavior data under BCBA supervision. The technician teaches skills using ABA principles, collaborates with caregivers and other professionals, supports caregiver training, and completes timely documentation. The employer provides training, support, and supervision, including assistance with obtaining and maintaining national RBT certification. The position offers clinical mentorship and professional growth opportunities within a collaborative pediatric therapy team.

Requirements

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to provide attentive care during sessions lasting up to two hours.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, squat, lift, and carry at least 20 pounds.
Flexibility with scheduling.
Ability to respond promptly to communication through phone and email.

Nice To Haves

RBT certification is preferred but not required.
A certificate, associate’s degree, or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one treatment for children up to 21 years old.
