We provide all the training, support, and supervision you need to become a confident and skilled Behavior Technician! Join our innovative center-based model where quality, collaboration, and mentorship are at the heart of everything we do. You will work alongside a wonderful team of Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Mental Health Counselors, and supportive BCBAs who are committed to helping you grow. This full-time opportunity is located in our South Huntsville clinic.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
Nice To Haves
- RBT certification is preferred but not required. We are excited to train you!
- A Certificate, Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one treatment for children up to 21 years old
- Implement learning programs under BCBA supervision and collect behavior data
- Teach skills based on the principles of ABA
- Collaborate with caregivers to support children with special needs
- Assist with caregiver training focused on communication, social skills, attention, and sensory needs
- Communicate with therapists and other professionals on client progress
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
