RI ABA Clinical Trainee
About The Position
Northeast Family Services is seeking an ABA Clinical Trainee to join their growing Rhode Island team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates with a year of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. The position provides support for fieldwork hours, test prep, study groups, and full guidance to obtaining your BCBA. Northeast Family Services offers high-quality supervised fieldwork, hands-on training with ongoing clinical support from supervising BCBAs, and individualized supervision focused on professional goals and skill advancement. They are an ACE provider offering at least two CEU events per month that can count as supervised fieldwork hours. Once certified, staff who participate in all offered CEU events meet the BACB's CEU requirement for BCBA recertification at no cost. The full-time weekly billable minimum is 30 hours. Requirements
- Enrolled in Master’s program, pursuing BCBA credential
- Accruing or looking to accrue fieldwork hours toward the BCBA credential
- ABA experience
- Minimum one year of experience working with children, youth and families
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle (comfortability with travel in RI)
- Access to high speed secure internet required
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time

Responsibilities
- Facilitate quality behavioral health services by serving as a liaison between clients and the service providers involved in their treatment
- Responsible for supervising, training, and managing direct service staff, as well as maintaining related treatment services and program documentation
- Build internship experience into a full-time career as a BCBA
- Gain valuable clinical experience that contributes toward the supervised hours required for licensure
