Our team in Industrial Group is looking for an A&T Technician II to join them. You will report to the Assembly and Test Supervisor and will have an onsite, 1st shift (6:45am-3:15pm) work schedule in East Aurora, NY. This role requires strict adherence to EHS and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

  • Display a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Assembly, mechanical and/or electrical experience.
  • Experience with diagnosing/troubleshooting mechanical components and test failures
  • Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or another industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision assembly on complex systems that support an array of applications.
  • Assemble products utilizing hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gages and other devices. Required to work from assembly instructions, both written and oral.
  • Perform various test operations using hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical to validate product acceptance.
  • Communicate common test failures and support reworking products as necessary.
  • Ensure that units are set up and tested in conformance with current revision letters and brings to the Supervisor’s attention any condition that is abnormal.
  • Utilize mechanical or electronic measuring equipment and perform tests to validate the acceptance of the model to current test requirements.
  • Support a high-performing team in delivering area goals by coordinating tasks and sharing expertise to achieve area goals.
  • Understand the production goals of the department and communicate deviations as appropriate.
  • Set up and perform operational tests of finished products on high precision test stands. This activity requires the use of hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic test equipment, fixtures and tools to obtain desired performance results.
  • Use and maintain the ERP system to record product builds, SN’s, and material use.
