About The Position

Moog’s Space and Defense Group is seeking an A&T Technician II for an onsite role in East Aurora, New York. The position reports to the Sr. Operations Coordinator and works on either 2nd or 3rd shift. The technician performs assembly, soldering, crimping, diagnostic rework, repair, and testing work on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators, systems, and related assemblies.

Requirements

At least 3 years of related experience in a related technical field.
High school diploma or GED preferred; otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English.
Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

Perform assembly operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators, and systems using electrical and mechanical measuring instruments, assembly tools, and cleaning devices.
Perform high-reliability soldering and crimping of wires on complex subassemblies and electronic and mechanical assemblies.
Work from drawings, worksheets, parts lists, and other units.
Use working knowledge of products to perform diagnostic rework on units that do not meet test requirements.
Repair units, typically those run with production units.
Perform assembly functions on hydraulic stands.
Conduct some testing using defined procedures.
