About The Position

Dynamic Equipment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist to join our growing finance team at our heavy equipment dealership. In this role, you will manage commercial accounts, minimize bad debt risk, and drive cash flow by proactively collecting on past-due invoices for equipment sales, parts, and service/shop repairs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Business-to-Business (B2B) collections—ideally within the heavy equipment, automotive, industrial machinery, or construction sectors—and is comfortable managing high-dollar accounts with complex billing cycles.

Requirements

Strong background in Business-to-Business (B2B) collections
Experience in heavy equipment, automotive, industrial machinery, or construction sectors preferred
Comfortable managing high-dollar accounts with complex billing cycles
Must consent to a drug test and pass a background check upon accepting this position and prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

Proactive Outreach in daily collections calls and follow-ups.
Maintain professional, firm, and courteous relationships with applicable parties to resolve payment disputes quickly while preserving customer goodwill.
Monitor customer accounts for non-payment, delayed payments, or irregular payment trends and escalate high-risk accounts promptly.
Cross-Department Collaboration to resolve billing discrepancies, missing purchase orders, or work order disputes holding up payments.
Investigate customer claims, short-payments, and tax exemption discrepancies, coordinating with billing staff to issue credits or corrected invoices when necessary.
May assist the Credit in evaluating credit applications, checking references, and setting credit limits for new and existing customers.
