About The Position

Join a team where precision meets performance. We are hiring immediately for full-time Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic in our Wichita Service Center. In this role, you can expect to work hands-on with advanced aircraft systems, supporting aftermarket modifications and maintenance in a fast-paced service center environment. You’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality aircraft to customers by diagnosing issues, performing complex repairs, and ensuring systems are fully operational. This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise while directly impacting the customer experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, equivalent certificate, or WorkKeys Bronze certification
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
  • Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including jet, turboprop, and piston aircraft
  • Knowledge of FAR 43 inspection procedures and experience performing 100-hour and annual inspections

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a customer service facility performing inspections and repairs

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and system malfunctions across jet, turboprop, and multi-engine aircraft, ensuring accurate root cause identification and efficient repair execution.
  • Perform disassembly, repair, replacement, and reassembly of aircraft systems and components, including supporting aftermarket modifications and upgrades to meet customer specifications.
  • Conduct functional tests, engine runs, and system alignments, ensuring all avionics and mechanical systems meet operational and safety standards prior to delivery.
  • Execute 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspections in accordance with FAR 43 requirements, maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
  • Complete detailed and accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and parts documentation to support compliance and traceability.
  • Support service center operations by delivering reliable, high-quality maintenance solutions, occasionally troubleshooting in-flight issues and mentoring less experienced technicians.
