About The Position
Sparta Networking is supporting a leading aviation company at a major airline hub in Charlotte, North Carolina in the hiring of experienced FAA-certified A&P Mechanics. This position focuses on line maintenance operations, including overnight maintenance, gate support, and AOG response. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in fast-paced airline environments where aircraft must return to service efficiently and safely. Full-time and contract opportunities available.
Requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – Required
- Minimum 1–2+ years commercial aircraft experience preferred
- Previous line maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Experience on Boeing or Airbus aircraft a plus
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance inspections and routine servicing
- Troubleshoot and correct aircraft discrepancies
- Remove and install aircraft components
- Respond to gate calls and AOG situations
- Conduct operational and functional checks
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
- Complete accurate logbook and maintenance documentation
