About The Position
Sparta Networking is supporting a leading aviation maintenance organization in Tulsa, Oklahoma in the hiring of experienced FAA-certified A&P Mechanics. This role supports scheduled heavy maintenance operations on commercial aircraft, including C-checks, structural inspections, major component replacements, and system troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has strong heavy maintenance experience and thrives in a structured, high-volume airline maintenance environment. Full-time and contract opportunities available.
Requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – Required
- Minimum 2+ years commercial aircraft maintenance experience
- Ability to work any shift (including nights/weekends)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Heavy maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Boeing or Airbus aircraft experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy maintenance inspections (C-checks and scheduled checks)
- Remove and install aircraft components and assemblies
- Troubleshoot and correct mechanical discrepancies
- Read and interpret maintenance manuals and engineering drawings
- Perform operational and functional tests
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures
- Complete accurate and detailed maintenance documentation
