About The Position

The A&P Mechanic’s responsibilities are primarily focused on airframe and power plant repair, airline on-call maintenance, and other maintenance opportunities as needed. The role performs aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs while complying with company and FAA requirements. The work takes place in an airport environment, indoors and outdoors, including exposure to extreme temperature ranges and elevated noise levels. The position may require after-hours on-call availability and work at night, on weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Active A&P license and the experience and education necessary to perform the duties.
• At least two years of general aviation knowledge.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to handle, prioritize, and multitask in a time-sensitive environment.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record within company standards.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must comply with attendance and tardiness standards.
• Ability to lift 45 pounds or more.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather and in elevated airport noise levels.
• Must be available for after-hours on-call work; may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous aviation experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive and ground equipment maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine 100-hour and annual inspections and A&P checks.
• Troubleshoot and repair airframe components, engines, and aircraft accessories, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform structural repairs to airframes.
• Perform oil changes and service hydraulic systems.
• Make required logbook entries for repairs and comply with company and FAA requirements.
• Install optional or added equipment on aircraft.
• Perform airline on-call maintenance and other maintenance duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
