About The Position
Sparta Networking is supporting a leading aviation maintenance organization at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in the hiring of entry-level FAA-certified A&P Mechanics and Technicians. This opportunity is ideal for recently licensed A&P mechanics or early-career technicians seeking hands-on experience in a commercial airline or MRO environment. Candidates will work under the supervision of senior technicians while gaining exposure to line and scheduled maintenance operations. Full-time and contract opportunities available.
Requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – Required
- 0–2 years commercial aircraft experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to work flexible shifts (including nights and weekends)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Recent A&P school graduate
- Internship or entry-level airline/MRO experience
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing scheduled inspections and routine maintenance
- Support component removal and installation
- Perform basic troubleshooting under supervision
- Service aircraft systems and complete task cards
- Follow FAA regulations and company maintenance procedures
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Complete required documentation accurately
