Reliable Airlines, a division of Reliable Robotics, is an air cargo feeder operator, operating for a major cargo carrier since June 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Our world-class leadership team holds extensive strategic and operational experience in the air cargo industry. As a Part 135 qualified A&P Mechanic at Reliable, you will be part of the Maintenance team and report directly to the Director of Maintenance. Your role will be critical in installing and maintaining advanced aviation technology in addition to performing routine, preventive, and scheduled maintenance and repairs on autonomous and piloted Cessna 208 aircraft.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to apply your expertise and hands-on operational abilities to be a part of defining the future of aviation. This position will be in direct support of our autonomous flight operations contract with the Department of War in the Pacific region (Guam). You will be remote based and tasked to work at our airline headquarters in Albuquerque NM, our flight test facility in San Martin, CA, and our contract location of Guam.
The schedule will be a 14 day on/off schedule while tasking in CONUS and 30 days on/off while tasked in OCONUS. All travel will be provided from home of record to work location.

Requirements

• FAA-issued Aircraft Technician (Airframe & Powerplant) certificate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in an ever-changing safety-oriented environment.
• Applicants are subject to FAA/DOT drug and alcohol testing program.
• Applicants must possess the legal right to work in the United States of America.
• Ability to qualify for a Security Clearance.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft electrical and avionics circuits using common test equipment.
• General fabrication and modification experience with significant Sheet Metal experience.
• This position requires access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls. An offer of employment will be contingent upon the applicant’s capacity to perform in compliance with U.S. export control laws.

Nice To Haves

• Cessna 208 or Pratt & Whitney PT6 experience is encouraged.
