About The Position
Sparta Networking is supporting a leading aviation maintenance organization in Greensboro, North Carolina in the hiring of experienced FAA-certified A&P Inspectors. This position supports widebody heavy maintenance operations and focuses on ensuring airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance during scheduled heavy checks. The ideal candidate has strong heavy maintenance experience and a deep understanding of FAA standards and inspection procedures. Full-time and contract opportunities available.
Requirements
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License – Required
- Minimum 3+ years heavy maintenance experience
- Ability to work any shift as required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Previous inspection experience preferred
- Experience on Boeing or Airbus aircraft strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and compliance standards
Responsibilities
- Perform required inspections during heavy maintenance checks
- Verify completed work meets FAA and company standards
- Review and sign off maintenance work packages
- Identify discrepancies and ensure corrective action
- Ensure airworthiness compliance before return to service
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection documentation
