About The Position
Hood Packaging Corporation is currently recruiting for an A Operator - Printing for our Wilmington, OH facility who will be responsible for meeting production standards and compliance with housekeeping and safety; work in a safe manner; responsible for producing product that meets or exceeds customers’ expectations, communicate all pertinent information to his/her relief. Assist in assuring HACCP, GMP’s, Work Instructions, and Food Safety Quality system requirements (SQF) are in compliance.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 35lbs.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing in one place for an unlimited amount of time.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of two (2) years in manufacturing preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and accurately perform proper adjustments.
- Knowledge of multi-wall bags and the bag manufacturing process.
- Must have the ability to complete Hood Packaging’s bag school and/or certification process.
- Ability to use basic hand tools, ink cart, PH meter, and Zahn cup.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding goals on the machine.
- Ability to set up printing press in a timely manner.
- Identify, analyze, and accurately perform proper adjustments.
- Other duties as assigned.
