About The Position

Amcor is seeking a Press Operator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for running a 6-color rotogravure press, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement. This position operates on a Monday-Thursday night shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Requirements

• 3+ years web handling experience
• 2+ years rotogravure press experience
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
• Ability to distinguish colors accurately
• Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
• Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand for long periods (steel-toed shoes required)
• Perform climbing, crouching, and reaching

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate rotogravure press to meet quality/productivity goals
• Monitor color accuracy and print quality
• Troubleshoot equipment and printing issues
• Follow all safety and chemical handling procedures
• Inspect and correct materials during production
• Complete required documentation
• Assist with training team members
• Communicate with supervisors, maintenance, and co-workers
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support process improvements
