Requirements

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year prior clerical or related experience required, preferably in a Managed Care or Health Care related organization
  • MS Word, Excel proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Process department correspondence, incoming and outgoing.
  • Provide back-up support to the A&G Coordinators and Director.
  • Ensure grievances and appeals are processed within established regulatory time frames and in accordance with Agency and department standards.
  • Open, date-stamp and log all incoming mail.
  • Prioritize and distribute correspondence to appropriate individuals.
  • Prepare and maintain departmental files.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
