About The Position
Newton Community School District is seeking a 9th Grade Boys Head Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The position starts in November 2026. The salary for this position is $3,772.
Requirements
- Must have a valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.
- Must provide a copy of Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate.
- Must provide a copy of Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Head Basketball Coach for the 9th Grade Boys team.
- Ensure all coaching activities align with district policies and the mission of the school.
- Manage team logistics and player development.
