About The Position

This is an added duty contract position for a 9th Grade Advisor. The advisor will serve as a liaison between coaches and the administration, and will be responsible for communicating with participants, parents, and administrators. The advisor must set an example through a high code of conduct, follow safety procedures, and adhere to NSBSD and specific activity policies and guidelines. A key responsibility is the annual review of the Coaches’ and the Parent and Student Handbooks, ensuring student welfare is paramount in all decision-making. The advisor must also complete mandatory trainings on or before the first contract day. Specific duties include meeting with students to support their class goals and fundraising activities, coordinating with the Principal on project development and fundraising strategies, and submitting an Activity Report detailing each project with a brief narrative and photos.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent required
Ability to pass a background Check

Responsibilities

Turn in Activity Report (Brief narrative of each project, attach photos if any).
