About The Position

St. Paul School is seeking a 7th Grade Teacher for the 2026/2027 school year. The ideal candidate will assist students in mastering curriculum skills and information while fostering their growth in faith and responsibility. This role involves integrating Catholic teachings and virtues, understanding student learning and diversity, and planning effective instruction to promote high levels of learning and achievement in a Christ-centered environment. Collaboration with students, parents, educators, administrators, and the faith community is essential, as is a commitment to professional and spiritual growth.

Requirements

Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach.
Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks.
Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Appropriate state certification/license as required by the grade levels and subjects taught.
Religious Education certification as required by the diocese.

Collaborate and communicate with students, parents, other educators, administrators, and the faith community to support student development, learning, and faith.
Assume responsibility for their professional academic/spiritual growth, performance, and involvement as an individual and as a member of a Catholic learning community.
