7th Grade Assistant Cross Country Coach
About The Position
This posting is for a Cross Country Assistant Coach position. The Assistant Coach will provide assistance with the overall supervision for all aspects of the High School sports program. This includes assisting in player selection, maintaining team discipline in line with the head coach's direction, and upholding WIAA standards. The role involves assisting the Head Coach with individual participants in skills necessary to achieve excellence in the sport, modeling and encouraging good sportsmanship, and explaining eligibility requirements and participation rules to student athletes. The Assistant Coach will also provide requested information to the athletics coordinator, maintain equipment inventory and upkeep, and assist the Head Coach in scheduling practices, overseeing safety, recordkeeping, and transportation arrangements for team members.
