About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an 737 Business Operations Specialist level 4 or 5 to join the Deliveries Team located in Seattle, WA, and may support deliveries in Everett, Washington. This position involves committing the program to business considerations and delta work statements that facilitate delivering aircraft. It includes managing additional work statements such as flights, inspections, configuration changes, customer unique requests, photo sessions, remote deliveries, and storage. The role also encompasses engineering investigations, warranty extensions, and managing additional parts, removals, and replacement of parts. A key aspect is leading dialog with the customer for aircraft acceptance, ensuring alignment with BCA leaders, and making decisions to ensure delivery in a 24/7 environment. The specialist will document program commitments for delivery schedule dates, act as a program representative in committing to delivery exceptions, and support the resolution of customer requests concerning configuration, logistic support, or other concerns. Developing and fostering relationships with customer acceptance teams is crucial, as is providing customer insight for delivery date commitments and issue resolution (e.g., financing, contractual, customs, regulatory). The role involves program representation in the assessment and concurrence to the scheduling of discretionary production testing (EWAs) and staying aware of production status and risks/issues management as an aircraft approaches its delivery event. The specialist will provide production status and risk/issue information to Sales and Contracts, document authorization of aircraft storage activity, and support paint operations in issue resolution and improvement initiatives. Additionally, support will be provided to Delivery Centers as requested in efforts related to Safety, rate readiness, management metrics, and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Experience with Schedule Integration Skills
  • Experience with Airplane and Flight Ops Acumen
  • Experience with Regulatory Agency Requirements

Responsibilities
