About The Position
Our Lady of Lourdes Interparish School (OLLIS) in Columbia is seeking a dedicated, full-time 7th/8th grade Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. OLLIS is a thriving K–8 Catholic school serving approximately 635 students and is committed to academic excellence and the formation of each child in a Christ-centered community. We are seeking an educator who enjoys working with adolescents, values both high expectations and strong relationships, and is committed to helping students build strong scientific thinking skills through inquiry, hands-on learning, and real-world connections. The ideal candidate brings content expertise, clear instructional practices, and a collaborative approach to supporting student growth.
Requirements
- Current teaching certification required
- Strong content knowledge in middle school science and effective instructional practices
- Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners
- Commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and the mission of Catholic education
