About The Position

GMC Prep School is seeking a 6th Grade Math teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Georgia Military College Prep School is a K-12th grade public, independent, military, college-preparatory school dedicated to developing the intellect and character of its over 850 students. This full-time faculty position involves teaching five sections of 6th Grade Math to approximately 80 students. Additionally, the role includes coaching and/or sponsoring after-school activities. The position is full-time with a 10-month (190-day) contract and offers a state-based salary, State Benefits, and TRS membership.

Requirements

• Hold a valid clear renewable Georgia teaching certificate in a Middle Grades field or have a teaching certificate that Georgia Professional Standards will convert to a Georgia certificate under their guidelines.
• Submit proof of valid Georgia teaching certificate or verification of enrollment in an appropriate teaching program that qualifies teaching under Professional Standard Guidelines.
• Clear a criminal background check.
• Clear a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience in Middle or High School Math.
