Prep School Faculty 8th Grade PE
About The Position
Georgia Military College Prep School is seeking a full-time 8th-grade PE teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The school is a K-12th grade public, independent, military, college-preparatory institution serving over 850 students, with a mission to develop intellect and elevate character. This position is for a full-time faculty member who will teach 5 sections of 8th Grade PE to approximately 80 students. The role also includes coaching football, baseball, and/or other after-school activities. This is a full-time position with a 10-month (190-day) contract, offering a state-based salary, State Benefits, and membership in TRS. Candidates must submit proof of a valid Georgia teaching certificate or verification of enrollment in an appropriate teaching program that qualifies teaching under Professional Standard Guidelines. Requirements
- A current teaching certificate in the state of Georgia or the ability to obtain one within 3 years
- Submit proof of valid Georgia teaching certificate or verification of enrollment in an appropriate teaching program that qualifies teaching under Professional Standard Guidelines

- Clear a drug screen
