About The Position

At BridgePrep Academy Hollywood Hills, we build strong foundations for lifelong learning. We are seeking a passionate, dedicated 5th Grade English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year to inspire our students, foster a love for reading and writing, and prepare our young scholars for middle school success.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university required.
Valid or eligible Florida Educator Certificate in Elementary Education (Grades K–6) or English (Grades 5–9).
Ability to successfully pass a Level 2 Florida Care Provider Background Screening.

Nice To Haves

ESOL Endorsement/Certification
Prior 5th grade or upper-elementary teaching experience
Familiarity with Florida B.E.S.T. ELA standards.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver interactive, standards-aligned reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary lessons that spark curiosity and deepen reading comprehension.
Maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, capable, and motivated to succeed.
Tailor instruction and use data-driven small groups to support diverse learning styles, English Language Learners (ELLs), and varied reading levels.
Participate in professional development, weekly team planning, and instructional coaching while maintaining clear, consistent communication with families.
