About The Position

The 50/50 Seller position at Honda Center is responsible for selling tickets for the 50/50 raffle during Anaheim Ducks home games. This raffle serves as a fundraising opportunity for the Anaheim Ducks Foundation and its charitable partners, while also engaging fans in an exciting in-game activity. The Anaheim Ducks Foundation focuses on supporting programs that create positive change for children and families in Southern California through educational opportunities, increased access to hockey, and addressing community health and wellness needs. This role requires individuals to be energetic, outgoing, and capable of engaging with a diverse fan base in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with a large and diverse fan base
• Excellent communication skills with an enthusiastic and professional attitude
• Cash handling experience and management of cash and credit reconciliation a plus
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented to reach or exceed sales milestones
• Genuine enthusiasm for community involvement within the sports and entertainment world
• Must be able to work a minimum of 80% of all Anaheim Ducks home games at Honda Center
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to climb up and down stairs multiple times during shift
• 0-1 Year of experience

Nice To Haves

• Cash handling experience and management of cash and credit reconciliation

Responsibilities

• Actively sell, handle, and distribute 50/50 raffle tickets using a mobile handheld during and prior to Anaheim Ducks hockey games
• Engage with Anaheim Ducks guests regarding the 50/50 Raffle and the Anaheim Ducks Foundation in a fast-paced environment
• Accurately reconcile sales with cash and credit card totals per game
• Meet and exceed established sales goals
• Act as an Anaheim Ducks ambassador during games and generate excitement for the 50/50 raffle
• Perform other duties as assigned

Benefits

• The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour.
