Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Working knowledge of CO2 and Fiber laser equipment, tooling, and processes
Knowledge of G&M codes
Attention to detail and ability to deal with complex part geometry
Ability to read and understand blueprints and use various inspection equipment
Willing to train individuals that can run CNC equipment and have a knowledge of programming

Nice To Haves

Experience in sheet metal or machining environment a plus

Responsibilities

Perform tooling setup per work instructions
Load / unload parts onto fixtures and operate 5-axis laser machine
Inspect completed parts using micrometers, indicators, calipers, comparators, etc.
Perform maintenance and cleaning of cutting equipment and work areas
Perform machine alignment procedures to ensure peak operating performance
Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor, and other staff
Other duties as directed by supervisor
