About The Position

The 5-Axis CNC Programmer is responsible for programming, optimizing, and supporting complex multi-axis CNC machining operations to manufacture high-precision components. The 5-Axis CNC Programmer is responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for complex multi-axis machining operations. This role supports the production of high-precision components by developing efficient machining strategies, improving cycle times, reducing tooling costs, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. This position works closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective manufacturing operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the machining process.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of dedicated experience programming 5-axis milling machines.
Demonstrated expertise using Mastercam 2024 or later versions.
Advanced knowledge of multi-axis machining.
Advanced knowledge of tooling.
Advanced knowledge of fixturing.
Advanced knowledge of GD&T.
Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Ability to independently develop, prove out, and optimize complex CNC programs from engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
